It has been a history making 36 hours in Australia with our first female prime minister, Julia Gillard, being installed yesterday and Kevin Rudd going from being our most popular prime minister a few months ago to .. now ex PM in one day without an election being held. Kevin couldn’t even run away and hide, he had to sit in parliament yesterday on the benches as an ordinary politician rather than as head of the party and Australian PM.
